Private Property

Commercial Property

We act for commercial clients, be they landlords, tenants, farmers, developers or businesses in leasing, selling, purchasing or developing commercial property, including, shopping centres, factories, offices, shops and farms.  As solicitors acting on behalf of Bank of Ireland we have an insight into commercial transactions from both the lender and borrowers’ perspective which enables us to guide borrowers through the process in the most efficient manner. Professional indemnity insurance cover of €5,500,000 enables us to undertake work on significant property transactions. 

Litigation

We have extensive experience in litigation: personal injuries, general litigation and commercial litigation. In personal injuries applications, we bring clients through the Injuries Board process, and, where applicable, the court process in an understandable and transparent manner whilst keeping the client regularly updated thoroughly the process.  We cover all areas of litigation from civil advocacy in the District Court to commercial actions in the High Court.  We also make complaints on behalf of clients to the Ombudsman and Financial Services Ombudsman and process appeals to the High Court from the decisions thereof.

Wills / Probate

All adults should make a will, regardless of age.  We can advise clients in relation to their wills from a legal, taxation and practical point of view.  We assist executors and administrators in extracting letters of administration.  Alternatively, we advise spouses, children of the deceased and beneficiaries in matters pertaining to estates. 

Banking

Both partners act for one of the pillar banks in commercial transactions, including commercial lending, re-structuring and enforcement, and have over 10 years’ experience in banking law.
